About Olbino Global Inc.

Olbino Global Inc. is a Toronto based direct trade coffee company founded to bring single origin Ethiopian Arabica from our family's farm in the Godere Forest directly to specialty roasters and importers in Canada, the United States, and worldwide.

Our Story

A direct extension of the farm

Olbino was founded by Adoniyas Kifleyesus and his wife, the daughter of the family behind Godere Coffee and Spices Farm in the Gambella Region of western Ethiopia. The company was established as a direct extension of what the family has been doing in Godere for decades growing, processing, and exporting specialty Arabica coffee from one of Ethiopia's most distinctive and underrepresented origins.

We built Olbino in Canada to create a direct, accessible point of contact for North American roasters removing the intermediaries and uncertainty that too often sits between a roaster and the coffee they are buying. When you work with Olbino, you work with the family behind the farm.

Coffee Is More Than a Drink

More than a beverage a daily ritual.

Growing up in Ethiopia, coffee was never just a beverage it was a daily ritual of gathering, friendship, and connection. That culture shapes everything about how we think about the coffee that leaves our family's farm and why we built Olbino to share it.

We want the roasters we work with to feel that connection. A heritage, a place, and a community of people who have tended this land with care and intention for generations. That is what direct trade means to us.

The Farm

3,000 hectares in the Godere Forest

Our family's farm in the Godere Forest spans 3,000 hectares in the Majang Zone, Gambella Region of western Ethiopia one of the last intact natural forest ecosystems where wild Arabica grows natively. At elevations of 1,700 to 2,100 metres, with annual rainfall of 2,000–2,200mm and deep red fertile soil, the farm produces single origin Arabica with strong origin character and genuine complexity.

What sets our position apart is control. Our family manages the coffee from cherry to export cultivation, harvesting, processing, milling, and export preparation all happen within the farm operation. Full traceability is not a claim we make it is a result of how the farm is structured.

We are currently developing micro lot and anaerobic fermentation programs for future harvests, reflecting our commitment to pushing the quality and distinctiveness of Godere coffee further with each season.

Community

The farm and its community

The farm in Godere is part of a community, and our family has always understood that the two cannot be separated.

The farm provides stable employment for local workers in the Majang Zone and has invested directly in the surrounding community building housing, roads, schools, and healthcare facilities, and providing access to clean water for the people who live and work there.

We believe the people who grow and process this coffee deserve more than fair pay. They deserve infrastructure, opportunity, and a future. That belief is not a certification requirement it is how our family has chosen to operate, long before Olbino existed.

What We Are Building

One exceptional origin, represented honestly.

Olbino is a young company with a clear purpose to represent one exceptional origin honestly, build lasting relationships with roasters who care about traceability and direct trade, and grow in a way that reflects the values our family has always held.

We are looking to work with specialty roasters and importers who want full traceability, direct communication, and a genuine connection to origin. If that describes you, we would like to hear from you.
